Image-to-PDF guide

How to combine multiple JPG photos into one PDF

For applications, receipts or scanned pages, turn separate images into a single document in the order you choose.

Combine photos in five steps

  1. Open the Toolmintly JPG and PNG to PDF converter and select your images. The current tool accepts JPG and PNG files, up to 30 images per document.
  2. Check the thumbnail list. Use the Up and Down buttons to move each image into the correct page position before conversion.
  3. Choose A4 or Letter for typical paper documents. Use Fit to image when page dimensions should follow the image instead.
  4. Adjust orientation and margins for A4 or Letter pages. The converter scales each image to fit, preserving its original proportions rather than stretching it.
  5. Choose Create PDF, download the result and open it to verify page order, margins and legibility before submitting or sharing.

Will one photo be cropped or distorted?

Images are fitted into the selected page area without stretching. A wide landscape photo on a portrait A4 page may leave blank space. If the crop is already wrong in the original JPG, correct it with the image resizer first.

JPG or PNG: which should I upload?

JPG works well for photographs and often uses less space. PNG may be better for screenshots or text-heavy images, but can be larger. Transparent areas of a PNG usually appear against white in the final PDF. The tool does not currently support HEIC input; convert a supported source before trying this workflow.

Why is the resulting PDF large?

A PDF containing high-resolution photos may still be large. Before conversion, you can reduce JPEG or WebP image size with the image compressor, then use the resulting supported JPG files. If you must meet an upload limit, inspect the final PDF size rather than assuming it will be smaller than the images.

Can I combine existing PDFs with photos?

This converter accepts images, not existing PDF documents. To join PDFs without first converting them to pictures, use the PDF merger. Converting pages to images can remove selectable text and is unnecessary when joining PDFs.

Are the images uploaded to a server?

The image-to-PDF conversion happens locally in your browser. Files are not intentionally sent to a Toolmintly application processing server. Device memory still matters for large images. Review our privacy policy and use the converter on a trusted device for sensitive paperwork.
